You might want to read David Bentley Hart's "The Experience of God: Existence, Consciousness and Bliss." (as you might tell from the subtitle, Hart considers himself a Vedantic Christian)

No theistic religion, if understood correctly, is anthropomorphic. Hart shows clear that the Vedantic perspective of Existence, Consciousness and Bliss (Sat Chit Ananda) is found in all the major religions.
