What does science do?
1. Extract measurable data from sense experience.
2. Analyze the data and apply that analysis to the manipulation and control of sense experience.
Science as conducted over the past 400 years does not directly detect anything outside of conscious experience. It neither confirms nor denies the existence of anything outside conscious experience (by "conscious experience" I am NOT referring to human experience; but simply to consciousness itself)
This entire essay is an astonishingly anti-scientific statement of belief in what is essentially pure faith - in the existence of a hypothetical substratum of nihilistic, indetectable inconceivable non living, non conscious stuff, for which by definition, there can never be any evidence.
The DSM-V describes this view quite well in the section on delusional disorder. There are aspects of autistic symptoms in it as well.

Now, on to a real scientist:
" I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” Max Planck
