What do we have direct empirical evidence for? All that we label “world” or “universe” appears in consciousness - therefore, a world IN consciousnes.

Speculations about the existence of some indefinable “stuff” we now label “physical” are just that, philosophic speculations, not science.

Science is one of hte most magnificent, brilliant techniques for analyzing the measurements of abstracted, quantitative aspects of sensory experience and discerning patterns which underlie much of the observed phenomena of our experience.

Period.

Science knows absolutely nothing about:

1. How anything came into existence

2. How the underlying patterns we call “laws of nature” came into existence or how they persist. Since all scientific explanation ultimately relies on these laws of nature, that means the 3rd person method of analyzing patterns has no fundamental explanation fo antyhing. The physicalist Lord o f the gaps is thus the explanation naturalists and physicalists use to cover up their lack of understanding, their ignorance.
