"t’s you. Yep, you, with your entire tapestry of experiences — the taste of your morning coffee, the smell of fresh-cut grass, the mesmerizing hues of a sunset. It’s the full range of your emotions: joy, sorrow, anger, desire, hate, lust, and that insatiable curiosity that keeps you asking questions. This is the stuff consciousness is made of."

Ok. Subtract all sensations, all emotions and all thoughts. Is awareness still present?

We already have scientific proof it is. It has been demonstrated in the lab that it's possible to be fully aware when the brain is producing delta waves (Menninger Foundation, 1973)

As recently as 2018, the American Psychological Association published a special article demonstrating irrefutably the telepathy, precognition, psychokinesis and remote viewing have been demonstrated scientifically at a level of proof acceptable in virtually all other sciences (the last dying gasp of skeptics (skeptics claiming for over 100 years that when the evidence would arrive, they'd accept it) - "Now that science has utterly proved parapsychological phenomena, we can only conclude that - since we know such phenomena are impossible, the science must be wrong and we have to change science")

Finally, when you say consciousness is a "physical" phenomenon, be careful:

If by "physical" you mean the stuff we touch and see all around us, we only know that by means of consciousness (thus eliminating the need to postulate some kind of panpsychist view)

If by "physical" you mean the abstract purely quantitative concepts developed by physicists as non metaphysical, purely conceptual models for measuring certain limited aspects of sensory experience, we also don't need any postulate of a purely external, utterly unnatural world

What's left?

Not idealism. Not dualism. not simple abstract conceptual allegedly "awakened" non duality......
