The simplest mindful awareness exercises:
listen to the “sounds” of your thoughts “IN HERE” as if they were nonsense….
blah blah blah
yada yada yada
dring dring dring
blah, yada yada, blah, dring, wohnst, blah, smeranish, blah…..
now,
listen to the sounds “OUT THERE” in your environment….
now..
look VERY carefully —
can you find a clear boundary between sounds “IN HERE” and sounds “OUT THERE”….
or
are ALL the sounds arising in one open, unbounded space of awareness?
