One of the most common criticisms of psi research is about the lack of mechanism. But there are countless discoveries in physics, evolutionary biology and neuroscience which were accepted long - months, years or even decades - before any mechanism was discovered.

When I had a dream and saw the layout of an apartment, as well as the contents of a bookshelf - including the precise location of a particular book as well as the cover design and the author - if you can’t come up with an alternative explanation, it’s pretty obvious it involved psi.

Give me 10 facts about the apartment you can deduce logically. The apartment was next to mine, on the top floor, which contained 4 apartments each of which had a completely different layout from the other. It was on 145 Second Avenue in NY City. The only thing I knew about my neighbor was she was a masters level music therapy student, and a professional jazz singer.

Tell me:

1. Where the bathroom was relative to the front door. Similarly, where the

2. Bedroom was

3. Kitchen

4. Living room

5. Dining room

6. Location of the book shelf

7. How many shelves there were on the bookshelf

8. What position the book was on a shelf with at least two dozen books

9. The name of the author

10. A description of the cover design.

If you can get all 10 right, I’ll consider my knowledge of the apartment a mere coincidence. You’re welcome to try as many times as you like. But you have to do it as a set. If you guess 1 right and 9 wrong, and I tell you which 1, you’lll have an advantage I didnt’ have when I saw the whole thing in a dream.
