Often when people write about Sri Aurobindo, they either consciously or unconsciously imitate his often forbidding, complex style.

This essay is remarkably clear and admirably simple. I feel like if I had read something like this when I came across Sri Aurobindo many years ago, it would have been a fabulous introduction.
