It sounds like you're assuming there's a purely physical reality outside of, not just all living beings, but any kind of (supramental) consciousness (I added "supramental" because I"m not pointing toward any kind of idealism)

Do you have any idea how to create a scientific experiment to detect that purely physical reality. And while you're answering that, can you define (or even describe) what "physical" means apart from the abstractions that scientists make of our sensory experience?
