Excellent article. I'd just add one clarification. I know that Mother and Sri Aurobindo have spoken in many places about the difference between Self realization and realization of the psychic being.

However, in practice it's not at all that easy to distinguish. In fact, I'm sure you're familiar with Ramana Maharshi and his teaching on realization of the Self.

Much of his language suggests he is talking about the Self. However, Sri Aurobindo in one of his letters says that Maharshi had realized the impersonal aspect of the psychic being!

Just wanted to share this so people who are waking up can know it's infinitely flexible and not clearly defined as the words seem to make it.
