By the way (speaking as someone who has loved Christian contemplative practice since the 1970s), not only do I NOT find the Christian "God" spoken of by most priests and ministers "comforting," - I find "Him" to be an appalling monster with a level of psychopathy that makes Donald Trump look like a saint by comparison.

Certainly, the "God" that so-called "Christians" have put forth over the ages is closer to the anti-Christ than anything the great sage, yogi, mystic and contemplative (and most decidedly Jewish!) Jesus ever taught.
