But why be a zealot EITHER way?

For some people, breakfast works. For some it doesn't.

There is tremendous research - well conducted - that supports both sides.

There's better research that supports intuitive, calm, joyful, playful eating. Which means - today I may tune in and realize the body is asking for some small amount of food at the beginning of the day.

Tomorrow I may realize the body doesn't need food till noon.

The next day it may want to wait till dinner.

living in flow, there's no need for angst on any of these days. Peaceful, calm, effortlessly mindful, "when hungry I eat, when tired I sleep" - not in the sense of a separate little "me" that controls, but as part of the effortless joyful, dynamic flow of life.
