90% of this - no, 99% - is right on the “money.”

I’m wondering, after reading this - as far as I know, Sri Aurobindo did not write any of his comments on the chakras based on anything he read, but rather from within his own seeing (I intentionally use “seeing” rather than “experience”).

Also, except for the forehead, above the head, and heart centers (a word he uses much more often than chakras), in some 10,000 pages of writing, I’d say the word “chakras” shows up in maybe 5% or less of his writing.

He almost never tells anyone to focus on a particular center except the forehead or heart, and much more often, the heart - though not the physical or even subtle heart, but the Heart - which, of course, is not a spatialized location.

Just thought I’d add this for a more comprehensive view. Otherwise, thanks for a wonderful post.
